Care In Your Home Partnership - Meet the Buyer / Market Engagement Event

Herefordshire Council will be running a Market Engagement event for all businesses interested in delivering home care under a new framework, called Care In Your Home (CIYH) Partnership. Herefordshire Council has a statutory duty, under the Care Act 2014, to provide home care services for residents with assessed eligible needs, in order to enable them to remain safe and independent in their own homes for longer, reducing or delaying the need for more formal health and social care services. ONLINE Sessions 4) 10 June 2026 at 9:15 - 10:45 via Microsoft teams 5) 11 June 2026 at 14:15 - 15:45 via Microsoft teams The online engagement sessions will be limited to 2 attendees per provider, to facilitate wider discussion and engagement for all participants. Each event will cover a range of topics including information of where to find council opportunities, how to successfully bid for them and specific information about this project together with opportunities to ask questions and network. Please note that each session will cover the same content, therefore there is no need to attend more than one session. The solution is intended to consolidate risk data from across the Authority into a single platform that strengthens oversight, enhances analysis & reporting, improves operational efficiency, and ensures accountability. A GRC tool may also provide the opportunity to identify data synergies and move away from several systems used across the Authority. Full traceability will be maintained across taxonomies, business units, policies and key processes, improving framework integration, transparency and decision-making. High Quality Data and Reporting Automated dashboards and configurable reporting to the Microsoft Office suite will streamline internal and external stakeholder reporting, including for senior management, committees and regulators. The British Embassy in Washington is seeking a suitably qualified provider to deliver comprehensive brokerage services in support of its health and welfare benefits programmes for country‑based staff across the United States Network. The Network comprises the Embassy in Washington DC, the UK Mission to the United Nations in New York, eight Consulates and four Trade Offices across 13 states, employing over 550 country‑based staff. The appointed supplier will be responsible for the administration and ongoing support of the Network’s health and life benefit plans, including medical insurance (currently self‑funded), dental and vision insurance, and life and disability programmes. In addition, the supplier will provide strategic advisory services to support the design, development and continuous improvement of the benefits offering. This includes market benchmarking, cost analysis, and recommending solutions to ensure the provision remains competitive, compliant, and value for money. The supplier will be expected to lead engagement with the insurance market, including identifying suitable providers, managing competitive placement processes, and negotiating renewal terms. The role will also include ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, and supporting governance and reporting obligations. Ongoing services will include policy administration, renewal management, claims support, handling member enquiries, and providing timely, professional advice throughout the policy lifecycle. A strong understanding of the US insurance market, coupled with proactive account management and the ability to deliver a high‑quality, reliable and data‑driven service tailored to the Embassy’s operational needs, will be essential. The contract is expected to have an initial term of five (5) years, with the option to extend for a further two (2) years.

Under the School Admissions Code 2021 and the School Admission Appeals Code 2022, all admission authorities must offer parents and carers the right to appeal when a school place application has been refused. Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC), as the admission authority for community and voluntary controlled schools within the city, has a statutory duty to ensure that the appeals process is administered in full compliance with these requirements. MKCC must provide an impartial, efficient, and legally compliant appeals service, supporting parents and guardians through the process, coordinating appeal hearings, and ensuring that independent appeal panels are convened in accordance with statutory guidance.
