About
We surface the public-sector tender pipeline.
DataMesh Consulting is an AI-native procurement-intelligence vendor. We monitor more than 100 government, supranational, and inter-governmental procurement portals — TED Europa's official Search API, the UK's Find a Tender Service, Saudi Arabia's Etimad / Monafasat, South Africa's eTenders, Montenegro's CEJN, Norway's Doffin and dozens more — and turn them into a single, AI-curated stream of opportunities.
The challenge with public procurement isn't finding tenders. It's finding the right tenders, fast enough, with enough context to act. Most aggregators republish PDFs and call it a day. We do the work: a 5-step extraction ladder pulls clean structured records from every source — JSON APIs first, then learned selectors, then the Kimi Code CLI as a reasoning fallback for ambiguous HTML. Every tender ends up with the same canonical shape: title, organization, deadline, value, CPV codes.
On top of that data we run vector-based matching against your keyword profile, scoring each tender for fit. Our iOS app delivers daily digests; this portal exposes the full corpus to public search engines for visibility and discovery.
How we're different
- AI-driven onboarding. When you ask us to track a new portal, our Kimi-powered analyser figures out the page structure on its own, writes the extraction rules, and starts pulling tenders. Usually live within two minutes.
- Dedicated extractors. For high-yield portals (TED, UK Find-a-Tender, Etimad, CEJN, eTenders ZA, Marchés Publics Maroc, eNaročanje SI…) we ship hand-tuned Step-0 extractors that pull thousands of records in seconds — no LLM cost, no rate-limit pressure.
- Real semantic matching. Vector embeddings of every tender description let us match by meaning, not just keyword. You ask for “automatic fare collection systems” — we surface the AFC tender even when the title says “contactless EMV validators for bus fleet.”
- Privacy-first. No third-party trackers. No cookie banner. Plausible analytics, self-hosted. Your queries don't leak.
Frequently asked questions
- Where does DataMesh Consulting get its tender data?
- We monitor 127 active public-sector procurement portals across 50+ countries — including the EU TED Search API, the UK Find a Tender Service, Saudi Arabia’s Etimad, South Africa’s eTenders, India’s eProcure CPPP, the Asian Development Bank, and a long tail of regional and sector-specific platforms. Our 5-step extraction pipeline pulls structured records from each.
- Is the data live?
- Yes — when the scraping pipeline is running we re-check every monitored portal at least every 30 minutes. The freshness timestamp for each source is published on /sources and the lastSuccessAt is exposed per portal.
- How do you classify tenders?
- We follow the EU CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) 2024 taxonomy for sector classification. Tenders from non-EU portals are mapped to the closest CPV division at extraction time. Country uses ISO 3166-1 alpha-2.
- Do you translate non-English tenders?
- On detail pages users can click a Translate button to get an on-demand English translation via the Kimi Code CLI. We do not pre-translate the entire corpus — translations are generated only when explicitly requested.
- Is there an API?
- A read API for partners is on the roadmap. Today the data is served through this website (datameshconsulting.co.uk) and the iOS companion app. Email yy@datameshconsulting.co.uk if you need a feed integration.
- How is the service funded?
- Free for public browsing and lead-capture. We do not run advertising and we do not sell user data. Sustainability comes from a planned commercial tier (private deployments, custom data feeds for corporate users) — not yet launched.
