The Wairere Falls Lookout Track is a popular ‘short walk’ destination, a 15-minute drive from Matamata and 20-minute drive from Te Aroha on the western side of the Kaimai Forest Park. It is centred around viewing the 153m Wairere Falls (the highest waterfall in the North Island). This procurement is aimed at addressing visitor safety by replacing structures along the Wairere Falls track that are near or at the end of life.
