Waste reduction behaviour change targeted programme

The Tender covers two projects in the Waste Reduction Behaviour Change Targeted Programme. Project One: Houses A large-scale intervention targeting a maximum of 391,000 and a minimum of 200,000 eligible households across nine (9) WCA areas. The intervention aims to increase the amount of food diverted from the residual waste (black bag) stream and into the dedicated food waste recycling stream; by providing residents with a targeted package of food caddy liners, information leaflets and/or bin stickers; depending on the household group, directly to residents' doors. Project Two: Flats A targeted intervention for purpose-built flats and blocks of flats across two (2) WCA areas. The intervention aims to increase the amount of food diverted from the residual waste (black bag) stream and into the dedicated food waste recycling stream; by providing residents with a targeted package of food caddy liners and information leaflets directly to residents' doors.

This will be offering counselling, guidance, and resources for a range of challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, financial or legal issues, and more. We are seeking a Provider to deliver an EAP service within ECC as a crucial aspect of our broader wellbeing offer, to ensure that our employees have access to timely and effective support to help them cope with personal and work-related challenges, and ultimately, maintain a healthy and productive workforce.

The purpose of this procurement opportunity for an Occupational Health Service is to secure a high-quality Provider that can deliver a comprehensive Occupational Health service that meets the requirements. The Provider will be expected to provide a range of services aimed at meeting the service needs, common law, and statutory duties of care for the health, safety and wellbeing of ECC's workforce. These services should include at a minimum, management referrals, health surveillance, ill health retirement, and advice and support for managers, employees, and HR personnel on occupational health issues. The Provider should have a strong track record of delivering Occupational Health services and be able to demonstrate expertise in areas such as a range of mental and physical health needs, data management, and proactive health monitoring. The aim is to secure so far as is reasonably practicable the promotion and maintenance of the highest degree of wellbeing of ECC’s employees during their employment.
