Public tenders from Switzerland

DataMesh Consulting tracks every public-sector procurement portal we can find for Switzerland. Below is the live stream of currently-active tenders. Filter by sector or value on the master tenders page.

Switzerland publishes all federal, cantonal, and communal public tenders on simap.ch, the joint Confederation/canton e-procurement platform.

simap.ch is operated jointly by the Confederation and the cantons. Every authority subject to the revised Bundesgesetz über das öffentliche Beschaffungswesen (BöB, in force since 2021) publishes here. As a non-EU/EEA state Switzerland does not syndicate to TED, so simap is the single authoritative source.

armasuisse (defence procurement), SBB/CFF (federal railways), the Bundesamt für Strassen (ASTRA), Swisscom-adjacent entities, and the cantons (Zürich, Bern, Vaud) are the largest buyers. Transport infrastructure, construction, and IT services dominate.

Bid windows follow the BöB (broadly EU-aligned). Notices appear in German, French, or Italian depending on the canton.

Frequently asked

Public tenders from Switzerland — common questions

How many active public tenders does Switzerland currently have?

As of right now, DataMesh Consulting is tracking 16 active public-sector tenders from Switzerland. The count updates continuously as new opportunities are published and existing ones reach their submission deadlines.

Where do tenders from Switzerland come from?

Every tender on this page is sourced from the country's official procurement portal. We do not aggregate from third-party services — each record links back to the official publication so bidders can verify procurement rules, fee structures, and submission portals directly.

How often is the Switzerland tender list updated?

Our scrapers poll the official portals continuously. A new Switzerland tender typically lands here within minutes of its official publication. Each tender record carries a "Published" timestamp from the source portal so you can verify the lag.

Can a non-resident company bid on Switzerland public tenders?

In most cases yes — Switzerland's procurement framework, like most public-procurement regimes worldwide, requires fair access regardless of bidder country of origin, subject to specific notice conditions (security-sensitive tenders, local-content rules, currency restrictions). Each tender record links to its source page where bidder eligibility is published in detail.

Do I need an account to view tenders from Switzerland?

No. Every Switzerland tender on DataMesh Consulting is publicly viewable. An account is only required if you want to bookmark tenders, save searches, or receive email digests of new Switzerland opportunities matching your profile.
