The Lamby Way Solar farm generates renewable energy for the authority and is a source of income generation for the authority. The site at Lamby Way comprises approximately 41 Ha of land which has previously been used for landfill waste disposal. Landfill operations were ceased on the area approximately 17 years ago and the area was capped with an impermeable membrane and around 800mm of topsoil.Cardiff Council are therefore looking to procure a suitable contractor to undertake the operation and maintenance activities of the Lamby Way Solar Farm for a period of 48 months.

ESPO is a public sector-owned professional buying organisation offering a comprehensive range of procurement services, including access to over 100 free-to-access framework solutions for the wider public sector. We are establishing a framework for the supply of liquid fuels, notably automotive fuels and heating oil. Recognising the geographical nature of this market, ESPO will structure the framework into multiple Lots using NUTS (Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics) codes to define regional groupings across the United Kingdom. A total of 55 Lots will be established based on these geographic regions. Suppliers may submit bids for one, several or all Lots. Customers will typically take delivery into their own bulk tanks however; the framework also includes a provision to offer Fuel Bunkering to support any customer seeking to purchase bulk fuel for their fuel card arrangements. To ensure transparency and alignment with market conditions, the pricing of liquid fuels supplied under this framework will be referenced against the relevant Platts Oil Price Index (Platts), typically on a weekly lagged basis. This procurement is for auditors to be employed by the Authority, to carry out asset management audits and engineering asset assurance inspections at gas and electricity sites. Ofgem requires a supplier to assess, inspect and investigate the asset management systems and equipment of licensees with a view to providing assurance that suitable governance is in place and equipment is being maintained in accordance with the relevant standards in practice. In order to do so, the suppliers may be required, but not limited to the following pieces of work: Item 1 The suppliers would provide their expert view on the following: Whether the Licensee’s asset management policies and procedures are fit for purpose and consistent with international best practice. Additionally, the supplier would provide an assessment of asset management maturity within the organisation. Whether licensees are following these policies and procedures correctly, in terms of the monitoring, maintenance and repair/replacement of their assets and whether the staff responsible for completing these procedures are appropriately trained. Whether licensees are accurately recording these activities, including into Network Asset Risk Metrics (NARMs)/other metrics, and making appropriate/timely interventions where issues are identified through such measures and otherwise. Item 2 The Inspectors provided by the suppliers will be employed to carry out engineering asset assurance surveys and Inspections at onshore gas and electricity sites. PfH Cymru (Procurement for Housing Wales) wishes to establish a Wales-specific Decarbonisation, Retrofit and Planned Works Framework Agreement. Established in 2004, Procurement for Housing (PfH) is a national procurement consortium dedicated to the social housing sector and supported by the National Housing Federation (NHF), Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and HouseMark. Procurement of Bulk Fuel Supplies for London North Eastern Railway Limited

London North Eastern Railway Limited (hereinafter LNER) is running this procurement for bulk fuel supplies for its Clayhills Depot in Aberdeen, which supports LNER's operational and engineering activities in the North of Scotland, under the competitive flexible procedure pursuant to sections 19 and 20 of the Procurement Act 2023. The estimated annual volume of product is 6,200,000 litres - Product Specification: Gas Oil to BS EN590 Diesel for use in UK Railway vehicles. Dyed for off road purposes. LNER is a long distance passenger train operator providing intercity services on the East Coast Main Line, connecting London King's Cross with destinations across Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland. LNER has been publicly owned and operated by the Department for Transport's Operator of Last Resort since 24th June 2018 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of DfT Operator Limited (DfTO). LNER operates within a public sector governance framework and works closely with its suppliers to deliver safe, reliable and value for money rail services. DFTO is committed to working closely with all aspects of the rail industry to ensure the continued provision of critical passenger rail services. FPA Consulting Limited (hereinafter referenced as FPA) has been employed by LNER to act as procurement consultant and advisor to LNER for this procurement. In the event of a contract award, the successful Bidder will enter into direct contract with LNER and not FPA.
