Rubha Reidh Lighthouse Access Road Essential Repairs. Lighthouse is situated on Rubha Reidh point at the entrance to Loch Ewe near Gairloch in Wester Ross. Scope of the works is to carry out localised repairs to road surfacing along the length of the access road filling all potholes along the route of the access road, remediate cracked surfacing with installation of concrete kerbing, clear vegetation from road side drainage ditches and culverts, secure railings on bridge crossings, and provide and install grit bins at 3 locations. The purpose of this procurement is to appoint multiple suppliers for the Provision of Excavation, Cable Laying and Reinstatement and related services across six Lots: Lot 1 Belfast District, Lot 2 North District, Lot 3 South District, Lot 4 East District, Lot 5 West District Lot 6 Projects. Lots 1-5 are geographical and Lot 6 is non-geographical. The services within Lots 1-6 will include, but not limited to as follows:: • The excavation and reinstatement of trenches and joint holes. • Installation of electricity cables (33kV, 11kV, LV mains and LV service) and related equipment (including minipillars, underground distribution boxes, auxiliary cables, ducts, etc.) associated with: a) Provision of New Customer Connections b) Fault and Emergency Response c) Asset Installation / Replacement / Upgrade Works • Management of Street works activities including signing, lighting and guarding of works to Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual. Possible additional activities include: • Cable Jointing of 33kV, 11kV, LV and Service Cables • Route selection All appointed Suppliers in Lots 1 to 5 as either Primary Supplier or Reserve Supplier will be appointed to the Framework Agreement for Lot 6. Call off contracts for each Lot will be appointed as outlined in Appendix C - Call Off Procedure of the ITT document. NIE Networks estimates the value of the Contract to be in the region of £331.5 million for the potential full 8 year period (inclusive of contingency).

National Framework for Civil Engineering, Infrastructure and Enabling Works 2026

Pagabo Limited, acting as an agent of YPO is seeking to establish a Closed Framework to combine the scopes of the National Framework for Civils and Infrastructure and the National Framework for Demolition and Land Preparation, replacing the existing two Frameworks. The current Civils and Infrastructure Framework is set to expire May 2026, the current Demolition Framework is set to expire upon execution of this procurement. It is proposed that this new Framework will be for a four year term from September 2026. The Framework intends to appoint a number of Contractors to provide a full range of Civil Engineering and Infrastructure works, Demolition works and Land Preparation works. The resulting Framework will be UK wide and will be available to all Public Sector Bodies. It is anticipated that, while the Framework Agreement is governed by the English Law, the Contracting Authority may, during the first 2-weeks of the tendering period introduce Scottish Law to form a part of the Framework Agreement Terms and Conditions. This is to support compliance with the applicable legal requirements in Scotland. The Contracting Authority will communicate this information to Bidders, in a transparent and proportionate manner. Bidders are to take this into account, while preparing tender return submissions.
