Checks ensure full compliance with recruitment processes, as well as statutory requirements. The Council also operates a rechecking process for employees, currently set at 5 years. We are seeking to formally procure the services of a DBS umbrella registered body, who will provide an electronic administration platform for the submission of DBS application forms and for the subsequent check results to be visible to users within DCC (E-Bulk System). We anticipate a requirement to process approximately 5,000 DBS applications per year for the Council. However, it should be noted that the number of applications processed may be subject to fluctuation due to organisational change, renewals required and policy decisions arising from national changes to disclosure and barring eligibility criteria. Swipe card payments continue to be used by the majority of customers when making payments at payment outlets. Swipe card payments are made using cards issued to customers. The cards contain a unique payment reference number, encoded on a magnetic stripe and printed on the card, which enables payments made at payment outlets to be automatically allocated to customer accounts. The Housing Executive requires a Contractor to produce and issue payment cards for Rent Accounts and Sub-Accounts and Leaseholder Charges and Sub-Accounts in accordance with the Specification and Appendix A. The Contractor will be required to receive bulk and ad hoc card requests, personalise the payment cards and dispatch directly to the customer.

The premises is constructed on an incline so that there is a lower ground, upper ground and 1st floor areas. The floors are linked via a staircase that ascends from lower ground floor to the upper floors. The stair is open to the lower ground floor café and exhibition spaces. The café and exhibition spaces are popular with the local community and visitors alike, attracting busy lunchtime trade as well as during evening performances and events. The ground floor toilets and cloakroom require upgrading to improve general decorative order, functionality and accessibility. The Ministry of Justice, through His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS), is undertaking preliminary market engagement to support consideration of a potential legacy archive recovery and digitisation requirement relating to historic index records currently held on obsolete media. HMCTS holds a substantial archive of historic index records, primarily across microfiche and cassette media. The current estimated scope includes approximately 20,000 microfiche sheets containing around 2 million records, and 658 cassette media units containing around 6.5 million records. The total estimated archive is therefore approximately 8.5 million records. There are also historic records held in books, although these are currently considered lower volume and lower priority than the microfiche and cassette records. The current arrangements rely on legacy physical and digital media, manual search activity, local operational knowledge and ageing technology. This creates challenges around retrieval speed, consistency, resilience, future access, preservation and the continued availability of the underlying information. HMCTS is therefore exploring market capability that could support the controlled recovery, digitisation, extraction, validation, indexing and searchability of these historic records.
