The Primary objective of the Socio-Economic Baseline Studies is to collect comprehensive and accurate information on the existing social, economic, environmental and institutional conditions in the project areas. This information serves as a reference point to assess the potential impacts of the project, monitor changes over time, guide project implementation and decision-making and ensure that appropriate mitigation and development measures are designed to maximize positive outcomes and minimize negative effects. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the following Services among others: Assess the current state of connectivity from farms to market centers, including travel times, waiting times, vehicle operating cost and the condition of existing roads. Examine transport service characteristics along the study corridors to evaluate complementary public policies and modal investments appropriate to improving the travel environment and enhancing social and economic well-being. Assess the socio-economic conditions and livelihoods of agricultural households within the project areas through a dedicated agricultural household module, including production systems, farm income, market participation, post-harvest lo
