Anskaffinga gjeld tilbygg og ombygging av Lærdalsøyri skule. Lærdalsøyri skule er ein fulldelt barne- og ungdomsskule for 1.–10. trinn og omfattar også SFO-avdeling, kulturskule og idrettshall/symjehall. Skulebygget består av tre byggetrinn med ulik alder og tilstand, mellom anna opphavleg skulebygg frå slutten av 1960-t alet, seinare ombygging/rehabilitering, bibliotektilbygg (Fløy A), tilbygg ved idrettshall frå 2006 og rehabilitering av garderobeanlegg til symjehall i 2024.
