The successful operator will be responsible for maximising resource recovery, improving operational efficiency, and reducing waste to landfill through fit-for-purpose processes and technologies. The service must integrate with NPDC’s wider waste management system, provide a clear mobilisation and transition plan for recommencing operations (the facility is currently closed), and contribute to long-term waste minimisation outcomes through enhanced material diversion, improved safety, reduced manual handling, and sustainable financial performance.
