What we need BSI seeks a suitably experienced and resourced forestry harvesting contractor or forest management provider to deliver end‑to‑end management of a research forest harvest, including planning, execution, roading, log marketing, transport, and site reinstatement. The contractor must demonstrate: Proven experience in medium-scale plantation harvest operations in comparable environments Strong capability in NES‑CF compliance, environmental management, and health & safety leadership Ability to plan and manage subcontractors across all harvest activities Capability to optimise commercial outcomes, including log marketing and value recovery Experience working in research or sensitive environments, including data capture and stakeholder coordination (researchers, landowners, Mana Whenua) What we do not want Responses from parties unable to deliver full end‑to‑end harvest management, including planning, execution, log marketing, and transport.
