HUP2 B1 Structural, Civil & Geotechnical Engineer
Wellington City Council
The Housing Upgrade Programme (“Programme”) is a partnership between the Crown and Wellington City Council (Council / WCC), through a Deed of Grant, to upgrade the Council’s Social Housing Portfolio (warm, dry, safe and secure). Due to the volume and complexity of activity required, the Programme has been split into two phases: HUP1: Phase 1 was completed in 2019 and resulted in 2490 upgraded bedspaces and 940 upgraded properties across 62 buildings. HUP2: Phase 2 is a $511 million (incl GST) investment over 10 years and has been structured into five tranches for a phased and strategic delivery approach to support tenants throughout the programme lifecycle. This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks a Structural, Civil & Geotechnical Engineer (Consultant / Provider) to provide structural, civil & geotechnical engineering services across all five sites. Services will include structural, civil & geotechnical engineering advice, reports, design, technical reviews, coordination, construction observation / query response support and close out documentation. Note: this is a closed RFP process (limited to Providers appointed to the All of Government Construction Consultancy Services Panel) involving written proposals and supplier presentations.
