Churchill East Secondary Pump Station Inlet Upgrade
Waikato Regional Council
Waikato Regional Council (Council) invites tenders for the demolition of the existing inlet at Churchill East Secondary and its reconstruction in accordance with the detailed design documentation. This Tender is for Stage 2 of the project and relates to the construction of the inlet upgrade, enabling safe and efficient mechanical weed‑clearing operations through the installation of a purpose‑built, rated access platform. Council is looking for credible contractors who have the capacity, capability, experience, and resources to deliver this project on time and within budget. They need to have a good track record on health and safety and environmental management. A compulsory site inspection will be held on 30 July 2026 at 9:00am. Attendance is mandatory to ensure all tenderers have viewed the site, understood the associated hazards and issues associated with the site/project, plus have an opportunity to ask questions of Council’s Operations staff and Project Manager about the project. Tenders received from Tenderers who do not attend the compulsory site inspection will not be evaluated by Council. Tenders close at 4:00pm on Thursday 27 August 2026 and must be submitted electronically via GETS.
