Digital Infrastructure System Integrator (DISI) Pre-Qualified Supplier List Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is inviting suitably qualified suppliers to apply for admission to the Digital Infrastructure System Integrator (DISI) Pre-Qualified Supplier List, established under Rule 23 of the Government Procurement Rules (5th Edition). The role The DISI delivers the Work Package 2 (WP2) active digital infrastructure and digital facility systems for a modern hospital environment, and provides systems integration across WP1 passive infrastructure, WP3 applications and clinical systems, and FF&E interfaces including major medical and biomedical equipment. Purpose of the list The list initially supports two hospital redevelopment projects — Pihi Kaha (Whāngārei Hospital Redevelopment) and Whakatupuranga (Nelson Hospital) — and is intended as an ongoing qualification mechanism for future Health NZ major hospital redevelopment projects where a DISI requirement applies. Delivery model Any downstream DISI appointment will be made by the relevant Main Contractor as part of its delivery supply chain, subject to Health NZ's approval rights. Health NZ acts as technical assurance body and approval authority; it does not become the contracting party to the DISI engagement. What this ITQ does not do It does not award a contract, appoint a DISI to any project, guarantee any supplier work or exclusivity, or seek project-specific pricing at the qualification stage. Admission confirms baseline capability only. Key dates (NZ time) ITQ released: 30 July 2026 Supplier briefing / industry webinar: 6 August 2026 Deadline for supplier questions: 5:00 pm, 28 August 2026 Deadline for responses (first intake): 12:00 noon, 11 September 2026 List term and access Initial five-year term, reviewed annually.
