Tiaki Wai previously issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) through the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) for the provision of a Customer Portal solution. That procurement process has since been cancelled following a review of our requirements and intended approach. Before determining whether, and how, to return to market, Tiaki Wai is undertaking further market engagement to better understand the solutions and capability currently available. In particular, we are seeking information on: - Off-the-shelf, or largely off-the-shelf, customer portal solutions that can be implemented with limited bespoke development. - The functionality and capabilities available as part of standard product offerings. - Providers' experience delivering comparable customer portal solutions within the water, utilities, or similar customer service environments. - Experience integrating customer portals with Kraken customer care and billing (CC&B) platforms. - Typical implementation approaches, timeframes, dependencies, and integration requirements. - Indicative commercial and licensing models, including implementation and ongoing costs. - Opportunities to adopt proven functionality and industry practices rather than developing a highly customised solution.
