This Notice of Information (NOI) is to provide project design information ahead of the Request For Tender (RFT) which is scheduled to be advertised separately on 22 September 2026. This notice is provided as an early indication only of the project scope and will not form part of any future tender documents or contract documents. This project is for the construction of the SH1 Ocean Beach Resilience Project, to raise the SH1 road level by up to 2.2m between Invercargill and Bluff (RP933/13.8-14.3). Project scope also includes embankment construction, pavement and surfacing, stormwater and tidal culverts replacement, utility works, safety barrier upgrade, signage and marking and landscaping. Tender drawings will be made available electronically for the purposes of the advance notice process. There will be more project related information released with the incoming RFT package. This is NOT the commencement of a tender process or a registration of interest to tender. As Notice of Information, the portal will not be open to Q&A.
