Supply and Delivery of Crawler-Type Excavator for River Desilting, Water Source Protection, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Infrastructure Support

REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES PROVINCE OF ALBAY MUNICIPALITY OF MALILIPOT BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE INVITATION TO BID SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF CRAWLER-TYPE EXCAVATOR FOR RIVER DESILTING, WATER SOURCE PROTECTION, AND DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT (DRRM) INFRASTRUCTURE SUPPORT 1) The Municipality of Malilipot, through the 20% Economic Development Fund (EDF), CY 2026, intends to apply the sum of Fourteen Million Pesos (₱14,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of Crawler-Type Excavator for River Desilting, Water Source Protection, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Infrastructure Support. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2) The Municipality of Malilipot now invites bids for the Supply and Delivery of Crawler-Type Excavator for River Desilting, Water Source Protection, and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Infrastructure Support using Competitive Bidding. Delivery of the Goods is required in accordance with the delivery schedule and requirements specified in the Bidding Documents. Bidders should have completed, at least one (1) contract similar to the Project within the period specified in the Bidding Documents from the date of submission and receipt of bids. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders. 3) Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA No. 12009. i) Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA No. 5183.
