Republic of the Philippines MUNICIPALITY OF MARIHATAG SURIGAO DEL SUR -o0o- Bids and Awards Committee INVITATION TO BID DRILLING AND INSTALLATION OF 4-INCH uPVC WELL CASING 1. The Municipality of Marihatag, Surigao del Sur intends to apply the sum of SEVEN HUNDRED FIFFTY-TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE PESOS (P752,475.00) ONLY being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC), to payments under the contract for the DRILLING AND INSTALLATION OF 4-INCH uPVC WELL CASING. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Municipality of Marihatag, Surigao del Sur, now invites Bids from eligible bidders for the DRILLING AND INSTALLATION OF 4-INCH uPVC WELL CASING. Delivery of the GOODS is required within fifteen (7) calendar days. The description of an eligible Bidders is contained in Section II of the Bidding Documents, ITB. 3. Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA No. 12009. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to RA No. 5183. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Municipality of Marihatag, Surigao del Sur and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00PM after the posting on the PhilGEPS. 5.
