Republic of the Philippines Province of Ilocos Sur MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA MARIA BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE INVITATION TO BID FOR SEF 2026 (Repair of School Building, Improvement of School Building, Construction of Compost Pit, Upgrading of Electrical System, Extension of School Canteen, and Installation of Tiles) CONTRACT NO. PB 2026-061 1) The MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA MARIA, ILOCOS SUR through LSB Reso #2, s.2026 intends to apply the sum of Five Hundred Fifty Eight Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Nine & 40/100 Pesos Only (Php 558,229.40) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for SEF 2026 (Repair of School Building, Improvement of School Building, Construction of Compost Pit, Upgrading of Electrical System, Extension of School Canteen, and Installation of Tiles) (PB 2026-061). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2) The MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA MARIA, ILOCOS SUR now invites bids for Repair of School Building (Roofing, Change of Frame), Improvement of School Building (Partition), Construction of Garbage Pit (CHB Walled Pit), Upgrading of Electrical System (Rewiring of Power Source/Distribution), Extension of School Canteen (Pavement), and Installation of Tiles (Tiling of Stage). Completion of the Works is required within 50 calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within 5 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (ITB). 3) Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”.
