IMPROVEMENT OF EVACUATION CENTERS

Republic of the Philippines Province of Leyte MUNICIPALITY OF CAPOOCAN -oOo- CAPOOCAN BIDS AND AWARD COMMITTEE Invitation to Bid for IMPROVEMENT OF EVACUATION CENTERS 1) The MUNICIPALITY OF CAPOOCAN, LEYTE through the DRRM FUND intends to apply the sum of SIX HUNDRED NINETY NINE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY ONE PESOS AND 23/100 ONLY (PhP699,991.23) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for IMPROVEMENT OF EVACUATION CENTERS. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2) The MUNICIPALITY OF CAPOOCAN, LEYTE now invites bids for IMPROVEMENT OF EVACUATION CENTERS. Completion of the Works is required within 32 calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within 2 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instruction to Bidders (ITB). 3) Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”. Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines. 4) Interested bidders may obtain further information from MUNICIPALITY OF CAPOOCAN, LEYTE and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – Monday -Friday from October 20 – November 09, 2026. 5) A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested bidders on October 20 – November 09, 2026 from the address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of ONE THOUSAND PESOS ONLY.
