Construction (Completion) of Multi-Purpose Building (Phase 4)

Republic of the Philippines Province of Southern Leyte MUNICIPALITY OF HINUNANGAN Barangay Upper Bantawon INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID 1. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Upper Bantawon, Hinunangan, Southern Leyte, through the Barangay Budget 20% EDF intends to apply the sum of Four Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand, Seven Hundred Forty-Two Pesos Only (P 494,742.00) being the Total Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for the CONSTRUCTION (COMPLETION) OF MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING (PHASE 4). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2. The Barangay Local Government Unit of Upper Bantawon, Hinunangan, Southern Leyte now invites bids for the CONSTRUCTION (COMPLETION) OF MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING (PHASE 4) located at Barangay Upper Bantawon, Hinunangan, Southern Leyte with the following scope of works: 1.0 – GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 1.1 – Project Billboard/Signboard = 1.00 each 1.2 - Occupational Safety and Health = 1.00 lumpsum 2.0 – ARCHITECTURAL WORKS 2.1 – Masonry Works = 95.00 sq.m. 2.2 – Plastering Works = 190.00 sq.m. 2.3 – Ceiling Works = 45.00 sq.m. 2.4 – Openings (Doors & Windows) = 1.00 lot 3.0 – ELECTRICAL WORKS = 1.00 lot Completion of the Works is required 60 calendar days. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instruction to Bidders. 3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act.” Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least seventy five percent (75%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.
