Republic of the Philippines Province of Samar Catbalogan City Invitation to Bid for Infra 2026-032 IMPROVEMENT OF MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING, BARANGAY MAULONG, CATBALOGAN CITY 1) The City Government of Catbalogan, through the 20% Development Fund (Appropriation Ordinance No. 06-2026-039) intends to apply the sum of Four Million Five Hundred Thousand Pesos Only (4,500,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Infra 2026-032 IMPROVEMENT OF MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING, BARANGAY MAULONG, Catbalogan City. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2) The City Government of Catbalogan now invites bids for above Procurement Project; Completion of the Works is required Eighty (80) calendar days. Bidders should have completed, within Eighty (80) from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders (ITB). 3) Bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR, otherwise known as the “New Government Procurement Act (NGPA)”.
