REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – FIRMS SELECTION) Sierra Leone Sierra Leone Water Security and WASH Access Improvement Project (SLWSWCIP) Grant No.: E5500 Project ID: P507588 Issue date: 7th May, 2026 Assignment Title: Consultancy Services for the Guma Dam Full Inspection Study, and Conceptual Designs and Preparation of Tender Documents for the Design and Build Contracting for the Heightening of Guma Dam Reference No .: SL-MWRS-539501-CS-QCBS The Guma Valley Water Company, through the Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sierra Leone Water Security and WASH Access Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Service”) include a full dam inspection study to be conducted on the Guma Dam, and feasibility studies, preparation of conceptual designs, terms of reference and tender document for a design and build contract for the heightening of the Guma Dam by 2 (two) meters, including diversion of Upper Sussex. The total professional input should not exceed Three Man Months. This assignment shall be completed within six (6) months, including periods for review of the Consultant’s deliverables by Guma Valley Water Company and WASH Implementation Team (WASHIT).
