National Consultant - Communications & Multimedia Specialist

Country: Lao PDR Description of the Assignment: The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: 1. Assist in leveraging communications channels to advertise NRM, CC & DRR unit’s activities and events (At least three activities/events) 2. Develop various communication materials to raise awareness on biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and resilience. 3. Support multimedia communication initiative of the NRM, CC & DRR unit. 4. In line with the NRM, CC & DRR units work provide oversight and support as needed for project specific communications related requirements.Task 1: Support communications planning and campaign delivery for the CFB and FARM projects (at least two campaigns):a) Campaign development: Develop and execute three communication campaigns aligned with CFB and FARM project milestones and/or events, including social media packages, visibility products, and outreach plans. b) Content creation: Develop communication products including press releases, blog/articles, social media captions, and relevant graphic designs in support of the campaigns.c) Quality assurance: Ensure all design work aligns with UNDP and donor (GEF and others) branding guidelines.d) Coordination: Communicate with project teams and stakeholders, including media, to ensure effective reach and donor visibility.e) Report: Monitor and provide analytics on campaign performance across communication channels.Deliverable 1: 2 reports on CFB and FARM campaign performance by tracking social media engagement and other communication channels, including lessons learned.
