BackgroundThe Promotion and Application of Sustainable Biomass Energy Technologies (PASBET) project is establishing five biomass demonstration plants across five pilot districts: Sujawal and Badin (Sindh), Layyah (Punjab), Sohbatpur (Balochistan) and Mansehra (KP). Alongside the demonstration plants, the project will conduct on-site training and community demonstration activities at each site.Under Component 2, the project promotes domestic biomass fuel technologies and builds the capacity of local communities in nursery establishment to support the afforestation drive. This procurement supports both objectives by supplying:• Domestic biomass cook stoves, for household-level demonstration of clean cooking technology• Biomass fuel pellets, to fuel the stoves during demonstration and training•ObjectiveTo procure and deliver the items, listed in Section 3, to the five PASBET pilot districts, for distribution among identified communities, in support of on-site demonstration training and afforestation activities under Component 2.Interested suppliers must submit their offer directly in the system as instructed in the solicitation document, following the instructions in the available user guide.
