Company-level supply-chain analysis of SEZ tenant firms and prospective MSME

[SCOPE OF TENDER......]Under the supervision of UNDP ASFH the consultant will:• Design the sampling approach and select SEZ tenant firms and prospective MSME suppliers across the four countries, aligned to the 17 Tier 1 and 9 Tier 2 products and the four priority sectors;• Develop a structured, firm-level supply-chain data-collection template capturing: company profile and verification; inputs (raw materials and intermediate goods, and their sources); outputs (products, volumes and specifications); production capacity and utilisation; supplier and buyer networks; certification and standards status; documentation readiness; logistics requirements; and financing needs. The template should be compatible with the initiative’s digital enterprise and supply-chain data instrument;• Collect firm-level data through engagements with SEZ operators, tenant firms, prospective MSME suppliers and anchor buyers — applying the Dube TradePort engagement model at SEZ in South Africa, and at equivalent SEZs in Ethiopia, Ghana and Rwanda;• Analyse the data to identify buyer–supplier matches, production and certification gaps, and logistics constraints;• Map firm-level constraints to the relevant CIOI records in the Barrier Solution Matrix; and• Refine the Tier 1 and Tier 2 product pipeline with firm-level evidence and produce a strengthened opportunity pipeline and present the findings to UNDP and key counterparts.Please indicate whether you intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.
