GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Uzbekistan Uzbekistan Gas Leak Repair Facility Project Gas transportation sector GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Grant No. D0734 Project ID No. P508941 Uztransgaz JSC has received financing in the amount of 10.6 million US$ equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Uzbekistan Gas Leak Repair Facility Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be financed by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development/International Development Association ( Bank ), acting as an administrator of Global Flaring and Methane Reduction Partnership Multi-Donor Trust Fund. The project will include the following components: Component A: Repairs of gas loss reduction from legacy gas infrastructure The project activities will include repair work at gas stations of the transmission network, and the purchase and installation of methane emission metering equipment, valve fittings (ball valves, gaskets), and consumables (e.g. welding electrodes, pipe sections, propane and diesel fuel, etc.) as well as contract services for the leak repair program and digital solutions. Component B: Capacity building of UTG to carry out monitoring and reporting of gas losses and emissions reductions This component will consist in capacity building of UTG to carry out measuring, monitoring and reporting of methane emissions in line with international standards and best practices in the oil and gas industry, in particular the Oil and Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0 Gold standard.
