Kingdom of Cambodia Nation Religion King Ministry of Public Works and Transport GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Country : Kingdom of Cambodia Project Name : Cambodia Regional Connectivity Improvement Project Phase 1 (CRCIP) Project ID No. : P510547 Project Implementing Agency : Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT); The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) of the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) has applied for financing support from the World Bank's (WB) International Development Association (IDA) to implement the CRCIP Phase 1 of Multiphase Programmatic Approach (MPA) with an implementation period of eight years starting in 2026. The CRCIP will support inclusive growth and job creation in Cambodia through targeted investments in regional road infrastructure and the enhancement of institutional capacity in logistics and trade facilitation. The Project Development Objective is to improve resilient transport connectivity along selected sections of the Asian Highway 21 regional corridor and increase national logistics management capacity. MPWT is responsible for overall project implementation, technical supervision, execution, and management of the Project. The Project Director and Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation, supervision, and operation of the CRCIP, including contract administration of works, services, and supply of goods. Ministry of Commerce (MOC) is the lead technical partner for project activities related to trade facilitation. The CRCI project will include the following components: Component 1: Road Corridor Improvement, including: Sub-component 1.1: Climate-resilient Road Corridor Improvement and Maintenance: will finance the improvement of the condition, climate resilience, road safety, and maintenance of approximately 247 km of the AH21 road corridor sections of National Roads 64 (NR64), NR62, and NR9 in Cambodia.
