The project covers ten districts – Maseru, Leribe, Butha-Buthe, Berea, Mafeteng, Mohale’s Hoek, Quthing, Qacha’s Nek, ThabaTseka and Mokhotlong. SADP is coordinated by the Project Management Unit based in Maseru. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the contract of rehabilitation of Two (2) Irrigation Schemes in Thaba-Tseka at Ha Mahlong (LOT 1) & Waterfall, Qacha’s Nek (LOT 2). The MAFSN through SADP II now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for rehabilitation of Irrigation Schemes in Thaba-Tseka at Ha Mahlong (LOT 1)& Waterfall, Qacha’s Nek (LOT 2) , for a period of 6 months for each LOT. Bidders are eligible to bid for both Lots but only One (1) Bidder will be allocated/awarded one (1) Irrigation scheme (LOT) at a time. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procuremen t Regulations for IPF Borrowers” 2025(“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
