1) Designer - Visual Identity and Web Experience LOCATION: Remote POSITION TYPE: Consultant/Agency DURATION: March 2 – June 30, 2026 About GDN The Global Development Network (GDN) is a public international organisation that supports high-quality, policy-oriented, social science research in Low- and Middle- Income Countries (LMICs), to promote better lives. Founded in 1999, GDN is headquartered in New Delhi (India), with offices in Clermont-Ferrand (France) and Arlington (USA). Our work spans the Global South. One of GDN’s flagship programmes, the Global Development Awards Competition (GDAC), has supported nearly 120 researchers and development practitioners worldwide, creating a substantial legacy of awardees, research outputs and best practices. To better showcase this work and strengthen long-term alumni engagement, including in terms of its integration with other GDN programmes, GDN is developing a modern GDAC Alumni Platform that will expand and integrate the existing GDN website and existing platform, to provide a more comprehensive, user-friendly space to connect with alumni, their projects, and learning from past programme cycles. To support the visibility and effectiveness of this platform-enabled alumni engagement programme, GDN is undertaking a broader refresh of its brand identity and website. The designer will therefore contribute to both the visual and UX foundations of the GDAC Alumni Platform, and the modernisation of GDN’s organisational website to ensure consistency, clarity and impact. Position Summary GDN is seeking a Designer – Visual Identity and Web Experience to refresh and modernise the organisation’s visual identity and digital presence, with particular emphasis on strengthening the presentation and accessibility of GDAC alumni and awardee profiles, the visibility of their work, and engagement pathways across the platform.
