Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Department of Disaster Management Bangladesh Sustainable Recovery, Emergency Preparedness and Response Project (B-STRONG) (DDM Part) 92-93, Mohakhali C/A, Dhaka 1212, Bangladesh www.ddm.gov.bd Notice of Early Market Engagement for Procurement of Rescue Boat All relevant stakeholders are hereby invited to attend an Early Market Engagement for procurement of Rescue Boat (Package No.: BSTRONG/DDMG-10,11,12), to be procured by the Department of Disaster Management, the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, under the project titled “Bangladesh Sustainable Recovery, Emergency Preparedness and Response Project (B-STRONG) (DDM Part)” with financing from the World Bank. A total of 370 Rescue Boats will be procured through three separate packages. In light of the current market conditions, potential procurement risks, efficiency analyses, the capabilities of economic operators, and other pertinent considerations; the project authority has initiated the Early Market Engagement (EME) to facilitate the procurement. The EME will will take place on Thursday, 18 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, at the project office (Room No. 702). The meeting will also be connected online via ZOOM. During the session, initial information regarding the Rescue Boats will be presented, and feedback will be solicited from interested and relevant economic operators and suppliers from both the public and private sectors. Interested individuals or organizations wishing to participate in the EME Conference are requested to pre-register by submitting an expression of interest via email to pdddm.bstrong@gmail.com no later than 17 June 2026. The online meeting link will be provided with the email address of those who will express interest. Please note that participation is free of charge, and no honorarium or fee will be provided to attendees.
