The Chinese Government has received a loan from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sustainable Ecosystem Restoration and Biodiversity Conservation Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan from the World Bank to payments under the Contract for Longmen Wetland Conservation and Restoration Project in Hejin City (Contract No.: SXHJ-C02). 2.The China Capital Tendering Co., Ltd. (the "Procurement Agent") entrusted by Hejin City Forestry Bureau (the "Employer"), now invites sealed bids from all eligible and qualified bidders for Longmen Wetland Conservation and Restoration Project in Hejin City, the main scope of which includes ecological revetment construction, key bird foraging ground construction, road renovation, wooden boardwalks, water system stepping stones, birdwatching pavilions, wetland management and monitoring stations, field observation stations for wetland birds, interpretive signages and guide boards, water quality monitoring points, environmental factor monitoring points, interpretive education corridors, greening and other related works. The construction period for all aforementioned works shall be 9 months, the maintenance period for the greening works within the above scope shall be 24 months (commencing on the date of satisfactory completion acceptance). 3. This bidding will be conducted in accordance with the National Competitive Bidding procedures. It is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers of the World Bank. 4.
