REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT SELECTION) Country: Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Project: Regional Emergency Preparedness and Access to Inclusive Recovery (REPAIR) Loan No./Credit No./Grant No.: TF0C5097-3E Assignment Title: Recruitment of a National Focal Point – Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Reference No.: MZ-REPAIR-557264-CS-INDV African Risk Capacity Limited (ARC Ltd.) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Regional Emergency Preparedness and Access to Inclusive Recovery (REPAIR) Programme and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services include the recruitment of a National Focal Point for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to support the implementation of the REPAIR Programme at country level. The National Focal Point will serve as the principal liaison between ARC Ltd. and national stakeholders, support programme implementation, coordinate country-level activities, facilitate stakeholder engagement, support operational preparedness, monitoring and reporting, and contribute to the achievement of the Programme Development Objective of strengthening financial and operational preparedness to respond rapidly to climate and other shocks. The assignment is full-time for an initial period of one (1) year, renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance.
