REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (Consulting Services – Individual Selection) Country: Republic of South Sudan Project: South Sudan Energy Sector Access and Institutional Strengthening Project (ASSIST) Grant No.: E166-SS Assignment Title: Procurement of Project Accountant Reference No.: SS-MOED-559480-CS-INDV The Government of South Sudan (GoSS) has received funding from the World Bank towards the cost of implementing Access and Institutional Strengthening Project (ASSIST) and is being implemented by the Ministry of Energy and Dams (MoED) and South Sudan Electricity Corporation (SSEC). The Project seeks to increase access to electricity services and strengthen the institutional capacity of the electricity sector in Juba, Yei, and Upper Nile Region and Bahra-Gazal, in South Sudan. MoED intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services (“the Services”) which include Procurement of Project Accountant (Individual Consultant) assignment for a period of eighteen (18) months.
