ROAD DEVELOPMENT AGENCY REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (REOI) PROJECT NAME: TRANSPORT CORRIDORS FOR ECONOMIC RESILIENCE (TRACER) PROJECT ID: P180801 IDA GRANT NO: E2930 ZM REFERENCE NO.: ZM-RDA-559530-CS-QCBS NAME OF THE ASSIGNMENT: CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE DETAILED DESIGN AND TENDER DOCUMENT PREPARATION FOR THE PROPOSED ROADSIDE STATIONS ALONG THE SERENJE–MPIKA ROAD (T2) IN CENTRAL AND MUCHINGA PROVINCES OF ZAMBIA This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business (UNDB) Issue No. WB-P2126650-07/24 posted on July 15, 2024. The Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Transport Corridor for Economic Resilience (TRACER) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the Detailed Design and Tender Document Preparation for the proposed Roadside Stations along the Serenje –Mpika Road (T2) in Central and Muchinga Provinces of Zambia. The assignment is expected to be undertaken within a period of eight (8) calendar months. The Road Development Agency (RDA) on behalf of GRZ, now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information with supporting documents demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. Based on historical experience, the shortlisting criteria are: (i) experience in similar assignments - successful execution of similar contracts (by size and complexity) in the last ten years - information to be provided should include name of assignment, name and full contact address of the client, contract value (in equivalent US dollars) and period (dates) of execution of assignment(s); (ii) experience in similar conditions; and (iii) technical and manage
