Procurement of Consultancy Services for Detailed Designs, Procurement Assistance and Construction Supervision of Works. Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project Component – B : QWASA Service Delivery Strengthening Project ID: P179227 The Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, through the Government of Balochistan (GoB), with support of the World Bank (WB), is implementing the Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (BWSPIP). The project development objective is to improve flood protection, increase access to water for productive use, and improve water supply service delivery in selected areas of Balochistan. Component B of the Project focuses on improving access to water and sanitation services for about 500,000 customers of the Quetta Water and Sanitation Authority (QWASA). Component B is implemented by the QWASA-Project Implementation Unit (PIU), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the project financing for consulting services to support preparation of detailed designs, procurement assistance and supervision of works. The QWASA-PIU of the BWSPIP Component B now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the requisite services as per the TOR. Consultants are encouraged to provide only materials that would be specific to the proposed services, and to avoid submitting generic promotional material. The shortlisting criteria are (i) Firm should have corporate capacity for offering similar services (Core business) for Ten (10) years.
