GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE INDIA STRENGTHENING COASTAL RESILIENCE AND ECONOMY IN THE UNION TERRITORY OF PUDUCHERRY (PY-SHORE) Environment, Water Resources, Coastal Resilience, Fisheries and Blue Economy GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Loan No.: To be assigned Project ID No.: P516041 The Government of Puducherry, India intends to apply for financing in the amount of US$ 119.70 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Coastal Resilience and Economy in the Union Territory of Puducherry (PY-SHORE) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this Project. This Project will be jointly financed by the Government of Puducherry. The Project will include the following components: Strengthening Institutional Capacity for Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM): Development and implementation of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) Plans, Decision Support Systems (DSS), Marine Spatial Planning (MSP), analytical studies, environmental monitoring systems, capacity building and institutional strengthening. Shoreline Management, Coastal Protection and Conservation: Shoreline management, coastal protection and stabilization measures, Southern Reef construction, nature-based solutions including mangrove restoration, coastal habitat restoration and sand dune rehabilitation, coastal aquifer recharge, Green Cruise Terminal, eco-tourism infrastructure and other coastal resilience investments. 3. Enhancing Livelihoods for Communities Reliant on Natural Resources: Climate resilient coastal fishing villages, modernization of fisheries infrastructure and fishing harbours, sustainable fisheries, eco-tourism development, livelihood enhancement initiatives and other blue economy interventions. 4. Improving Marine Pollution Management and Promoting Plastic Circularity: Interception and diversion of sea-bound wastewater, marine plastics management, fishnet coll
