The Government of Somaliland (GSL) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of implementing the “Somali Water for Rural Resilience Project (Barwaaqo)” and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the “ Construction of Hafir, Sand Dams and Shallow Well in Il-carmo, Karin-Shabeel, Badenbad, Bali-hiile and Fiqi-Aden, Somaliland (5 LOTs). For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. 2.
