Construction of irrigation canals and weirs / intake gates at Chibile and Ngulula in Mungwi district and Iyendwe in Mpulungu district of Northern province

REPUBLIC OF ZAMBIA OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT – PROVINCIAL ADMINISTRATION NORTHERN PROVINCE REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB) RFB No : ZM-MGEE-570646-CW-RFB – “CONSTRUCTION OF IRRIGATION CANALS AND WEIRS IN MUNGWI AND MPULUNGU DISTRICTS OF NORTHERN PROVINCE UNDER THE TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPES FOR RESILIENCE AND DEVELOPMENT (TRALARD) II PROJECT”. The Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through Ministry of Green Economy and Environment has received financing from the World Bank (WB), Nordic Development Fund (NDF), Climate Investment Funds (CIF), Global Environment Facility (GEF), Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) and Scaling Climate Action by Lowering Emissions (SCALE) towards the cost of implementing the TRALARD II Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the construction of irrigation canals and weirs in Mungwi and Mpulungu districts of Northern province. The Office of the President, Provincial Administration, Northern Province now invites bids on behalf of the TRALARD II Provincial Project Implementation Unit (PPIU) for the construction of irrigation canals and weirs in Mungwi and Mpulungu districts of Northern province. The submission of the tenders will be through the electronic government procurement (eGP) system.
