Upgrade of Namichiga-Ruangwa road section(20.60km) to bitumen standard

AE/001/2026-2027/HQ/W/17 (TZ-TANROADS-564150-CW-RFB) This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in the United Nations Development Business (UNDB) No. WB-P890351-12/21 of 14th December 2021. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Roads to Inclusion and Socio-Economic Opportunities Project (RISE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Upgrading of Namichiga–Ruangwa Road Section (20.60Km) to Bitumen Standard., Tender No. AE/001/2026-2027/HQ/W/36 (TZ-TANROADS-564150-CW-RFB). The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Upgrading Namichiga–Ruangwa Road Section (20.60Km) to Bitumen Standard for the construction period of 18 months inclusive of three (3) months mobilization from the commencement date and 12 months Defects Notification Period. Margin of preference is not applicable. The Works consist of upgrading of the existing gravel surfaced road to Bitumen Standard, re-working the existing 20.6 km double surfaces dressing to Double Bituminous Surface Dressing (DBSD), construction of embankment, drainage structures involving box culverts, pipe culverts as well as pavement layers and ancillary works as stipulated in the Bills of Quantities.
