Respiratory staff will use this high-performance equipment in critical-care environments to deliver controlled pressurized oxygen /air to patient s lungs to help them breathe. In maintaining the current respiratory population and workflow in the department, the facility is trading in six end-of-life V60 Non-Invasive Ventilator Units to continue departmental support. Unique characteristics that limit availability to only one source, with the reason no other supplies or services can be used: Market research revealed that the items listed in this request can only be purchased from OEM, Hamilton Medical Inc; or the authorized SDVOSB distributor and SAC contract holder, Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions Inc. Further investigation confirmed that the SDVOSB vendor has a mandatory SAC contract which cannot accommodate all the requested CLINS items outlined in the facility's request -including both Reno Service Training tuition and Clinical Training.
