NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source contract to Evoqua Water Technologies. The Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) has a request for Evoqua Water Technologies, for preventative maintenance service. The justification for this non-competitive solicitation is due to Evoqua Water Technologies, being the sole supplier of requested service to the VA Hospital and Health Care Center. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561990 All Other Support Services $16.5 million. The Sole source service is: Service & Maintenance Items W3TSP3006 Fuel/Energy Surcharge Fixed surcharge applied per service visit. Supports technician travel and operational energy costs needed to perform DI system maintenance. W3TSP3011 PM Contract Recurring (Parts & Labor) Provides recurring annual preventive maintenance for the DI system. Includes all required labor and OEM parts. Ensures system reliability and compliance with regulatory water-quality requirements. W3TSP4346 Conductivity Readings & Record Data Contractor performs conductivity testing of DI water output. Readings ensure water purity meets laboratory standards. W3TSP4408 Adjust Flows and/or Pressures Technician adjusts internal system flows and pressures. Ensures optimal DI production performance and protects downstream equipment. W3TSP4417 Inspect Pumps Inspection and verification of pump condition and operation.
