The Republic of Lebanon (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Lebanon Emergency Assistance Project (LEAP) , and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Rehabilitation of Shelters (Public Schools) for Batch 1: Lot 1 Lot 2 and Lot 3”. For these three contracts, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. The project encompasses 3 distinct Lots categorized across different regions. The Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the “ Rehabilitation of Shelters (Public Schools) – Batch 1: Lot 1 , consisting of providing restoration works to address the needs of buildings including the supply of material and implementation of repairs of items such as lighting, bathroom plumbing, painting, tiling, etc… of selected public buildings used as shelters, in compliance with applicable National and International Regulations and World Bank requirements for such.
