N6945026R0026 Wharf Bravo, Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, Florida

This project is to repair and recapitalize Wharf Bravo and associated utilities at NAS Pensacola, Florida to ensure continued operational support for U.S. Coast Guard missions. The recapitalization effort will extend the service life of the wharf, improve structural integrity, and modernize utility systems to meet current operational requirements. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following major components: Structural Repairs, Mooring and Fender Systems, Wharf Hotel Services, Pavement and Drainage, and Incidental Work. Expected structural repairs include casting new concrete fascia over the existing steel combi-wall, replacing the concrete cap along the wharf, repairing holes in sheet piles, installing a galvanic cathodic protection system, and repairing and reinforcing tie-back anchors. Project includes mooring and fender systems requirements such as replacing mooring hardware and timber fender system, installing new mooring bollards, cleats, and foam-filled fenders, and each mooring bollard will include a tie-back anchor for enhanced stability. Anticipated wharf hotel services involve replacing utility systems including potable water, fire water, sanitary sewer (CHT), and electrical shore power stations. Project expected pavement and drainage requirements include removing existing pavement surfaces to access buried utilities and structural elements, repairing steel combi-wall and tie-back system, installing tie-back anchors at mooring bollards, replacing pavement with new asphalt surfaces, and constructing a stormwater drainage system with detention basin for improved runoff management. Incidental work will include all related incidental construction, demolition, and site restoration necessary to complete the recapitalization effort. Period of Performance is 548 calendar days for the Base Bid and 365 days for Option 0001.
