Overhaul of the UH-60 POWER TURBINE MODULE

The purpose of this Amendment 0004 to solicitation W58RGZ-26-B-0012 is to formally update the acquisition approach and restructure the requirement. The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Commercial Item Group (CIG) has issued a formal determination concluding that the maintenance and overhaul (M&O) services for the Power Turbine Module of the Black Hawk weapons system described in this solicitation meet the definition of a commercial product/commercial service in accordance with FAR 2.101. Consequently, this solicitation is hereby converted from a noncommercial requirement to a commercial requirement conducted under FAR Part 12. Additionally, this amendment restructures the contract type from a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to a three-year IDIQ and incorporates mandatory regulatory updates in compliance with the recent Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO).
