Solid Nose Fuze Plug (MXU-735) NSN: 1325-01-214-4314 DODIC: FW90 P/N: 923AS148 ITEM DESCRIPTIONS: The following parts are used on various MK80, BLU-110 and BLU-111 series bombs. Solid Nose Fuze Plug (FW90): This one-piece hemispherical solid can nose plug replaces the older two-piece system. It is a steel insert placed in the forward fuzeline of the bomb that aids penetration of hard surfaces and enhances delivery accuracy. The Government anticipates a one-time purchase of approximately 12,000 – 15,000 units.
