Upgraded Pipe Crawler Inspection System

This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) only This notice is issued solely for market research, preliminary planning, and information-gathering purposes in accordance with RFO Part 10 and DFARS Part 210. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) No solicitation package is currently available, and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract based on this notice. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District (NWK), is conducting market research to identify qualified, capable, and interested parties—capable of delivering a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) pipe crawling inspection system. The system will be utilized for the internal inspection of non-sanitary municipal and civil infrastructure. Access will typically be gained via standard infrastructure access points, including: Standard access manholes Drainage flap gates Mechanical access points The inspection system must be a modular, steerable, wheel-driven unit capable of adjusting to varying pipe sizes, lengths, and construction materials.
