SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE Country: Türkiye Name of Project: TÜRKYE: Education for Job Market Readiness Project (E4J) Contract Title: Procurement of 50,000 Interactive Boards for Inclusive, Accessible and Equitable Digital Contents in Classrooms Loan No./Credit No./ Grant No.: 98940-TR / P510381 RFB Reference No.: GO-C1.1-01 The Ministry of National Education of Türkiye has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the TÜRKYE: Education for Job Market Readiness Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments of the contract to be awarded for "Procurement of 50,000 Interactive Boards for Inclusive, Accessible and Equitable Digital Contents in Classrooms." For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit. The Ministry of National Education Directorate General for Innovation and Education Technologies (DGIET) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for procurement of 50,000 Interactive Boards to be installed in classrooms in schools. The list of provinces, and the schools for each province, and the number of computers per each school are provided in the RFB document. The period, including the delivery and installation of the Goods at the respective schools, shall be 270 calendar days following the signing of the Contract. This period shall comprise 90 calendar days for conducting four separate partial acceptance inspections of the final Goods and 180 days for the delivery and installation of the Goods at the schools by the Supplier. Margin of preference will not be applied.
