Specific Procurement Notice Request for Bids Works (One-Envelope Bidding Process) Country: Republic of Lebanon Name of Project: Green, Agri-food Transformation for Economic Recovery Project (GATE) Contract Title: Rehabilitation of Agricultural Roads – Batch 1 (4 Lots) Loan No./Credit No./ Grant No.: IBRD Loan No. 9576-LB RFB Reference No.: G-GP-W-RFB1 The Republic of Lebanon, represented by the Council For Development and Reconstruction received a Loan from the World Bank toward the cost of the “Green Agri-Food Transformation for Economic Recovery (Gate)”, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Loan towards payments under the contract: Rehabilitation of Agricultural roads – Batch 1 (Proc. ref. G-GP-W-RFB1). The Green Plan invites sealed bids from interested and eligible bidders for the implementation of the above-mentioned civil works under the Contract: Rehabilitation of Agricultural Roads – Batch 1 (4 lots ). The Contractor shall complete the rehabilitation, upgrading, and maintenance of the existing agricultural road in different roads across Lebanon including but not limited to necessary soil stabilization, drainage, and surface repairs needed to improve rural accessibility, at a minimum acceptable service condition for an agricultural road.
